Matt Koren

Matt moved to Columbus, Georgia in 1988 when his father (a career Army officer) was stationed at what is now Ft Moore. While in Columbus, Matt played club soccer for Columbus United and varsity soccer for the Brookstone School before graduating in 1991. Matt then enrolled in the University of the South in Sewanee, TN where he played four years of college soccer before graduating in 1995. After college, Matt served as an officer in the Marine Corps on both active duty and in the reserves, including a deployment to Iraq in 2007 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Matt also graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2003 and currently is the co-owner and general counsel of Redeux Developments, a small residential development company in Denver, CO. Matt is married to Julia (Walters) from Atlanta, Georgia they have two young boys, Landon and Hudson.
